The Department of Anthropology and Archaeology announces two new academic books

Prof Innocent Pikiray and Dr Fraser McNeill of the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology respectively announced their new academic books.

Prof Pikirayi, Head of the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Pretoria, recently wrote the book, Tradition, Archaeological Heritage Protection and Communities in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It was published by OSSREA and more information can be found here.

Dr McNeill is a Senior Lecturer in Anthropology and his new academic book is AIDS, Politics, and Music in South Africa, numbered 42 in the well-known monographic series of The International African Library. It was published by Cambridge Press and the paperback version will be available in March 2012 in South Africa on www.kalahari.net .
