Items on display include amongst others hand woven products by weavers in the Greater Tshwane Metropolitan area.  This exhibition runs concurrently with a permanent show which showcases Anton Van Wouw’s sculptural pieces.

Visitors to this exhibition will have the benefit of interacting with weavers and spinners on site and get acquainted to one of the preliminary tradition of garment and textile making methods.

The weaving and other textiles exhibition opened on Friday, 24 May 2008 and runs until 30 May 2008 at the Van Wouw Museum, Corner Clark and Rupert Street, Brooklyn.

Hours: 10:00 to 16:00 of by appointment.
