The International Society of Augmentative and alternative Communication (ISAAC), CAAC, University of Pretoria and the South African NPO, Interface, are leading a first-time-ever world wide initiative to highlight the needs and capabilities of children who use AAC. Participating Countries include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, France, Finland, India, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan and the USA.
The Centre for AAC will be distributing bookmarks during the week of 1 - 5 October at the Main Campus, University of Pretoria. Felix Visagie, a disability consultant employed at the CAAC, will be making a presentation on Friday 5 October at 9:00 (Room 2-44, Communication Pathology building).
