Here TuksSwimming academy and TuksSport High School pupil, Quinton Delie, spent time training at the local health club and his home club swimming facilities. He was joined yesterday for his swimming training session by the Namibians triathlete, Abraham Louw, who is a member of the elite triathlon BSG team, who's sponsored also by the High Performance Centre (HPC).

Here the two Namibian team members were put through their paces by TuksSwimming Coach & manager, Steven Ball, who will be accompanying Quinton with the Namibian team to the Games.

Back in Pretoria the other two TuksSwimming and TuksSport High School Olympians were going through their paces at the TuksAquatics facility in final preparation for the Games. They are Natasha De Vos (South Africa) & Mercedes Milner (Zambia).

They were joined by Paralympian Emily Gray before she heads to the IPC world Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands. At the same time a 32 man strong team headed off on Thursday to compete at the Telkom SA Short course championships, which also serves as the qualifying for the FINA Short course World Championships in Dubai in December.

The inaugural Youth Olympics promises to be an experience for the athletes going to compete there.
