As a result of both these road closures, the robot on the corner of Lynnwood and University Roads has been deactivated. If you drive in a westernly direction in Lynnwood Road, your only option is to turn left into University Road towards Magnolia Dell. If you drive in a northerly direction in University Road from Magnolia Dell, your only option is to turn right into Lynnwood Road towards the main entrance of the University.

In order to keep a free flow of traffic at this junction, it has been decided to close University Road to all traffic, excluding construction vehicles, till the conclusion of the Federation Cup on 22 June 2009. This also necessitates the closing of the University Road entrance to the campus.

A Remote Search Park for the Federation Cup has been constructed on Parking Area H29, situated outside of the university perimeter on the corner of Duxbury and Herold Roads, which will also not be accessible for parking as from 6 June 2009.
