The results of the voting will be announced to members of Senate and the Institutional Forum respectively and will be forwarded to the Standing Committee of Council with a view to the interviews with the candidates on the short list on Thursday, 16 July 2009. Following the interviews, the Standing Committee will provide Council with advice in the form of an order of preference of candidates it deems most suitable for appointment.

The University Council will meet on Monday, 27 July 2009 to decide on the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor and Principal.
