The Corporate Communication and Marketing Directorate won a first prize at the annual Marketing, Advancement and Communication in Education (MACE) Excellence Awards.
MACE is a membership-based professional association for capacity building and professional development in institutions of higher and further education within SADC. The MACE conference was hosted by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth in October.
The 2009 UP corporate calendar with research as theme won the first prize with a score of 96,5% in the category External Publications: Brochures/Marketing material.
