UP women man microphones to celebrate Women's Month.

On Tuesday, 6 August, Prof Cheryl de la Rey, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, together with Prof Stella Nkomo, Deputy Dean for Research and Post-Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, Prof Anské Grobler, Head of the Department of Business Management, Dr Amaleya Goneos-Malka, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Business Management and Dr Arien Strasheim, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management will focus their discussion on women in the academic world and the issues they encountered on their road to success. The discussion will be facilitated by programme presenter Glenn Lewington.

Classic FM 102.7 is an independent commercial radio station which focuses on classical music and providing local and international news. The hour-long programme Classics Business and Classic Government was formed recently by merging two concurrent shows. It aims to provide information on government and business and the impact that it has on the economy – thus presenting a synergy of the governing of business and the business of Government.
