Founded in 1933, the Choir brought exposure to the Northern Arizona University campus through its annual participation in the Easter sunrise service at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at the Shrine of the Ages.

The Choir provides graduate and undergraduate students from various majors of the Northern Arizona University (NAU) in the USA the opportunity to study and perform an outstanding choral repertoire.

The Shrine of the Ages choir is conducted by Dr Edith A. Copley, a Professor of Music and the Director of Choral Studies at NAU. Dr Copley has received numerous honours, including Centennial Teacher of the Year Award in the School of Performing Arts, Arizona Music Educator of the Year Award and Arizona Outstanding Choral Director Award.

The Tuks Camerata, conducted by the award-winning Christo Burger, consider it a privilege to share the stage with this outstanding international choir which shares their love of and dedication to choral music.
