The University of Pretoria Youth Choir, conducted by Lhente-Mari Pitout, forms part of the multi-choir model of the University and consists of 73 members between the ages of 14 and 19, representing over 20 schools in the Tshwane area. The aim of the choir is to contribute towards the aesthetic music education and interest within its members as well as developing their sense of co-operation and existing harmoniously in a multicultural environment.
