When the ‘first’ final whistle went, it was 11 a piece and after another drama packed 20 minutes it was still a draw (17-17). Maroela’s gallant men were then declared winners as they scored the first try of the final.
Maroela deserve all the praise for retaining their title. They came back magnificently after losing momentum and rhythm in the Top 8 phase. OP also deserves a big compliment for their masterful performance.
In the u.20 final Taaibos had the better of Sonop (13-8), whilst VOB won the second leage final, beating EBIT 17-7.
