Maroela won 25-22, scoring the winning points only late in the second half.
Maroela’s only try was scored by scrumhalf Jan-Spruyt Steenkamp. Adriaan Bornmann (fly half) contributed the rest of the points with the conversion, five penalties and a drop goal.
For Villiagers Dirk Fourie scored their only try. WD Botha succeeded with the conversion and five penalties.
