Maroela had a terrible first half, seriously disappointing with their lack of basic skills like first time tackling, handling, decision making, discipline and finishing. They never looked like taking the initiative even with the advantage of having one player more on the pitch.

In the last 40 minutes Maroela showed more spirit, but again made too many unforced errors when they were in striking distance of Dagbreek’s try line. In the end it cost them as it gave Dagbreek enough breathing space to keep their noses in front.

Maroela threw everything at Dagbreek in the last minutes, but the winning points were not to be.
