The fact that all tries were scored by outside backs is evident of the striking power Tuks have and the good use they are putting it to.

Johan Booysen (inside centre) and Gert Andries van der Merwe (tight head prop) were named Players of the Match.

Tuks’ tries were scored by John-Wessel Bell (2), Dirk Dippenaar and Justin van Staden. Van Staden added another eight points with a conversion and two penalties, whilst Gertjie Smith succeeded with a conversion.

John-Wessel, Tuks’ left wing, is now the top try scorer in the first round. He has five tries to his name.
