Louis Nel, President of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union, was one of the first to congratulate UP-Tuks on their best performance of the season.
‘It took you eight matches to eventually play to your enormous potential. You were very good and made us all proud. It will take some doing to stop you know,’ said Nel.
Kobus van der Walt, Director of TuksSport, hailed the victory as ’one of the best ever performances by a Tuks team’.
Head coach Nollis Marais described his team’s performance as ‘brilliant’, whilst captain Jono Ross was ‘at a loss for words’.
