The ‘All Tuks’ Gauteng North is having a fantastic tournament. With only one match in the knock-out phase to go (tomorrow morning against Northwest South), Gauteng North is still unbeaten.

On the opening day (19 March) GN beat Gauteng Central 46-27. The next day wins against Gauteng West (68-17) and defending national champions Nelson Mandela Bay (31-26) followed.

On Saturday (20 March) GN had their closest shave so far. They had to work hard to subdue Boland 35-31 and it may well be that there will be a rematch in the final. The other finalist will only be determined on Monday.

Earlier today (Sunday) GN first took care of Western Province (47-23) and then Free State Motheo (30-20).
