Kobus van der Walt, director of TuksSport, said in his reaction that Erin has done the University of Pretoria proud with her remarkable achievement.

“It’s wonderful news,” said Van der Walt.

Burger was one of Tuks players representing the Proteas at the World Chanpionships, won by Australia in extra time against New Zealand in the final.
