“We are working as hard as ever and hope to reach and maintain our peak so that when the league kicks off we are ready,” said the confident Barker.

Since their preseason camp they’ve had couple of games which includes the first timer against Orlando Pirates. AmaTuks showed more confidence against their opponents and it paid off as they came out to win 4 – 2.

“Win or loose its not important now as we are just working on combinations and giving every player a run for game fitness. The game was tense at some stage but we all understand sportsmanship and building a mutual working relation” said assistant coach Sly Mosala.

AmaTuks found it at easy to secure the friendly against Pirates as they are on TuksFootball fields for their training camp.

“We are really glad to contribute technically to a club of this caliber and are greateful for its contribution to our club. We improvised on their presence on site to add value and test our performance by playing a friendly game” said TuksFootball Manager, Kenneth Neluvhalani.
