TuksCricket : Tuks 1 maintains 100% winning record

A day later Tuks 1 demolished Adelaar in the NCU Knock Out league, winning by 10 wickets.

It was also a very rewarding weekend for Assupol Tuks 2, first beating TUT 1 in the NCU Premier League. On Sunday Sinoville fell to the Tuks 2 sword in the NCU Knock Out league.

TUKS 1

Tuks 1 fielded first in its Premier League fixture against Kavaliers restricting the batting side to only 104 runs. Leon Nel took 5/31 in 12.4 overs and Matthew Pillans 3/19 in 6 overs. Tuks 1 scored the winning runs in the 17th over with 2 wickets down. Andre Malan was not out on 55(52 deliveries).

Tuks 1 also fielded first in its Knockout League fixture against Adelaar 1. Adelaar was in trouble from start to finish, only managing to score 59 runs before the last wicket fell.

Tuks 1 bowled out Adelaar for 59 with Craig Letcher (3/18 in 5 overs) and Matthew Pillans (3/8 in 5 overs) excelling with the ball. Tuks 1 cliched victory in the 6th over with no wickets down (Andre Malan 31*, Francois le Clus 23*).

TUKS 2

Assupol Tuks 2 beat TUT 1 by 120 runs (Premier League)

Tuks 2 scored 265 all out in 60 overs (Mario Correia 56). TUT was bowled out for 176 runs in 48 overs, Ernest Kemm taking 5/29 in 14 overs.

Assupol Tuks 2 beat Sinoville 1 by 3 wickets (Knockout League)

Sinoville 1 scored 201/8 in their allotted 45 overs (Duzi Mbhata 3/22 in 8 overs). Tuks 2 scored the winning runs with 7 wickets down (Duzi Mbhata 42, Werner van Lingen 41).

OTHER RESULTS

Assupol Tuks 3 loose by 3 wickets to Centurion Kavaliers 2 : Kavaliers 2 scored 238 all out (Skip Fourie 3/38 in 9 overs, Deon Coertzen 3/48 in 9 overs). Tuks 3 were bowled out for 135 (Graeme Bruining 31 runs).

Assupol Tuks 4 beat TUT 2 by 4 wickets.

Assupol Tuks 5 beat Police 3 by 3 wickets.

Assupol Tuks 6 vCenturion Kavaliers 3 : Game abandoned due to rain.

Assupol Tuks Ladies beat Defence Ladies by 10 wickets : Defence was bowled out for 132 runs (Melissa Smook 2/19 in 7 overs). Tuks Ladies scored the runs with no wickets down (Jene Viljoen 31 runs, Mignon du Preez 82 runs).
