TuksCricket : Tuks 1 relentless in pursuit of Premier League title

Mamelodi batted first and was all out with only 86 runs to the good. Tersius Gouws with figures of 5/10 in 11 overs was the main destroyer with the ball.

Tuks lost three wickets before securing the win in the 18th over, Andre Malan top scoring with 32*.

Tuks 1 is now 14 log points clear of second placed CBCOB 1. Tuks top the log with 93 points.

Assupol Tuks 2 also did itself proud by beating Police 1 by 5 wickets thus recording its 11th win of the season. Tuks 2 is still in fourth spot on the log with 68 points.

Tuks 2 needed only 36 overs to dismiss Police for 102 runs, Ernest Kemm taking 3/27 in 12 overs.

Tuks 2 batlled a bit and lost five wickets before winning the macth (103/5, Stuart Dickson 44).

Tuks 4 scored 271/5 in 45 overs, Waldemar Bodenstein 70, Salim Manuel 57, Dian Botma 51. Police 2 scored 63 all out, mark Capes 5/26 in 9, Salim Manuel 3/18 in 7. Tuks 4 won by 208 runs.

CBCOB 4 scored 128 all out, Alex Ralph 4/29 in 9. Tuks 5 scored 129/2, Pip Kemm 64*. Tuks 5 won by 8 wickets.

♦ Assupol Tuks 6 v Police 4

Tuks 6 scored 149 all out, Tiaan Botha 34, Chester Kirkwood 30. Police 4 scored 150/7, CJ van Heerden 3/33 in 6 overs, Chester Kirkwood 3/23 in 6. Tuks 6 lost by 3 wickets.
