"It is a good place to start as Caster needs to test herself first against an average field rather than one studded with international stars. She will have the opportunity to take part in two similar meetings after which we will know more about her actual mental and physical preparedness," said Michael.
Michael confirmed that Caster will not take part in the African Championships in Nairobi and that ASA has been informed accordingly.
"Our main aim is to get her ready for the Commonwealth Games in October in India," added Michael.
