Joseph Mthombeni opened the score, but the celebration didn’t last long as the visitors retaliated within 5 minutes.

AmaTuks trailed 1-2 at half time, but Steve Barker and his troops looked to be more in shape when returning for the last 45 minutes.

Hardly 10 minutes into the second half, Phinda Dlamini scored the equalizer and that increased the tempo of the game. Phinda later scored again to secure a winning lead for AmaTuks.

AmaTuks captain, Obert Moyo praised his team for the effort that ensure the win.

“We worked hard the whole week and collected maximum points,” said the happy captain.

Obert continued: “We are in the final stage of the league and everyone wants to be in the play-offs. Winning all our remaining games will give us a better draw in the play-offs. I see people are starting to count their chickens before they are hatched. I’m however confident we are going to contest the play-offs this season.”

The AmaTuks team manager was thankful to all the supporters that filled the stadium.

“It was really good to have such massive support.”

AmaTuks’ next game is away against Dynamos.
