Posted on October 10, 2013

The conference had over 700 delegates from 54 countries who participated actively in discussions through critical inputs and debates on the lessons learnt in using ecosystem-based adaptation approaches, mainstreaming ecosystem-based approaches for food security and climate change adaptation, as well as the implications for future food security under increasing temperatures. The session on the private sector focussed on partnerships with businesses and provided examples of best practises across a variety of industries.

The ALCRL supports inputs and actions envisaged by participants in achieving food security goals and climate adaption, not only in Africa but also internationally.
