The Aon Benfield Natural Hazard Centre, Africa is a collaboration between Aon Benfield, the premier reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor, and the University of Pretoria, one of the leading research universities in South Africa and one of the largest in the country.

“This newsletter is the first of many to come. It showcases a mere fraction of the projects and activities undertaken by the Centre since its establishment it July 2008. We are grateful for the productive collaboration between Aon Benfield and the University of Pretoria,” says Prof Kijko who has had more than 100 of his publications appear in academic journals.
