'Women Researchers at UP' series: Inaugural Seminar presented by DVC Prof. Stephanie Burton

The seminar is presented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Pretoria, Prof. Stephanie Burton, and entitled "University and Research Careers for Women in South Africa today".

Prof Burton is currently Director: Postgraduate Studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) as well as the Vice-Principal: Research and Postgraduate Education at the University of Pretoria.

During her academic career, she has had wide academic exposure at several universities, both national and international and has supervised a large number of South African and international postgraduate students. Prof Burton’s research is based in the fields of organic chemistry and biochemistry.
