The seminar will be focusing on the relationship between sexuality and spirituality and the presenters are Mmatshilo Motsei and Matuba Mahlatjie. It will also include the launch of Mmatshilo’s new book, Embrace the virgin in you: Healing the divide between sexuality and spirituality (R150 per copy).

Mmatshilo Motsei is a social entrepreneur, author, poet and healer who has devoted the past 20 years of her life to working with rural and urban communities as a counsellor, trainer, gender consultant and development practitioner. Her main interest is integrating African indigenous philosophies in modern innovations. She has written several books, including The Kanga and the Kangaroo Court: Reflections of the Rape Trial of Jacob Zuma and Hearing Visions Seeing Voices.

Matuba Mahlatjie is a journalist and a spiritual and traditional healer. He writes as regularly as possible on issues ranging from love to politics.
