As part of their fieldwork for the Community-Based project Module (JCP) of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, the students gave the library of Thoho-ya-Ndou Technical High School a facelift.
The built new bookshelves from the old shelves that was written off by the University. Got a donation of books from Exclusive Books in Brooklyn. Sorted the books in the and re-arrange the library.
Muninga Denga, Lebogang Makgoana, Desiree Masehla, Linde Matumba, Rorisang Maubane, Nyambura Mungai, Shonisani Nengwenani, Lebang Nong, Tumi Petje, Thato Seabi, SM Shilo, Rendani Tshotheli and Jacob Tsotetsi, all engineering students, are so passionate about community engagement that want become mentors for the 2010 JCP-students.
