The Lux Mundi Maths Project is a winter-school project organised by Ms. Sulene du Plooy. It provides high-school learners with limited educational resources the opportunity to some individual attention and assistance with their school-work. The project focuses on Maths, Science and English together with some art classes in between. The project takes place at the Hatfield Christian Chirch. Thirty students enrolled for the compulsory undergraduate course, Community-Based Project Module (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment helps on yearly bases with the project. They are mentors for the learners. The students love the project; they can teach the learners and the best part of the project, KFC sponsor the project!
