Tateni Home Care Givers received a generous donation thanks to the JCP-students of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environments and Information Technologies creative idea to hold a Rock and Roll concert.  The students JZ Abbott, Keegan Fisher, Chris Langenhoven and F van Staden decided to organise a concert as part of their field work for the compulsory undergraduate course Community-Based Project.

The Tateni Home Care givers are one of the appreciated partners of the module and students have been involved in various projects with them since 2005. These wonderful women look after people in Mamelodi living with HIV/Aids as well as vulnerable children.  It was for the manager of the NGO, Mrs Regina Mokgokong, a first rock and roll concert – but a very worthwhile experience.
