Lyttelton Manor High School organise a yearly reading competition at the Village Mall. To assist the media teacher one of the JCP-students, Theuns Olivier, designed and built a Buzzer that would sound of and indicate which team has responded quickest to the question that the Quizmaster has asked. The JCP-module is a compulsory undergraduate module for the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology. Students have to work at least 40 hours in the community and address a need of a community, thereafter they reflect on their experiences. The teacher responsible for the project, Karen Botha, was very satisfied with the result.
