The delegates are from various African countries and will be familiarising themselves with how a contact university, such as the University of Pretoria, delivers a large-scale distance education programme in one of its faculties, the Faculty of Education. They will also be taken on a tour of the campus and of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, which will include a visit to the University’s internationally recognised veterinary hospital. The Dean of the Faculty of Education will be hosting delegates to a dinner on the same day.
