The Department of Construction Economics presented eight papers at the 6th Post Graduate Conference and received the award for Best Student paper the second year in a row. This year the award went to Mr Hendrik Tryhou and Prof Chris Cloete.
The Department was also well represented at the international RICS COBRA Research Conference which was held at the University of Cape Town from 10-11 September 2009. The Department of Construction Economics presented a total of twelve papers at the conference.
