Below is an article that appeared in the Pretoria News of Friday 17 May 2013. The little hats that the twins in the picture wear were donated by the Communication Pathology final year students in celebration of World Kangaroo Mother Care Day, which was on 15 May. Under supervision of Renata Mosca and Dr Elise van Rooyen, the head of the unit in Kalafong hospital, the students are participating in one of the most important evidence-based interventions for preterm and low birth weight babies in the world.
