Forty great South Africans celebrate their mothers and grandmothers. Leaders from the worlds of politics, business, music, sport, education, and literature pay homage to the women who have influenced and inspired them to lead exceptional lives.

In celebration of Woman's Month, Art on Campus brings you 11 short excerpts from these stories to inspire and illustrate the universal values that make mothers great, values we can all relate to and find in our own mothers.

The book "Umama", will also be for sale if you feel moved to explore more of these tributes, or wish to gift a special mother or a grandmother with this collection. Please enquire at reception - books are priced at R130 each.

The exhibition will run August 2011 / September 2011 on the GIBS main campus - Monday to Sunday from 7am to 7pm.
