Independent research by Magnet Communications shows that MBA students rate GIBS the highest in 7 out of 10 categories in a survey of business school satisfaction levels, firmly entrenching GIBS as one of the leading business schools in South Africa.
The survey, which polled more than 400 students currently studying towards an MBA, was conducted by Magnet Communications. The survey was conducted in partnership with GIBS, Wits Business School, UCT Graduate School of Business, University of Stellenbosch Business School and UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership.
GIBS ranks highest for its overall reputation, faculty, choice of courses, contacts with the business community, quality of education, administration of the business school and the environment of the business school. GIBS was ranked in second place for its administration staff and access to service facilities.
Prof Nick Binedell, founding director of GIBS, said: “The results of the Magnet MBA Survey reaffirm our belief that GIBS is a top-quality provider of business education. By ensuring that GIBS continues to be ranked amongst the country’s best business schools, we can continue to help contribute to building a stronger, more competitive and more sustainable country through business education.”
