Fourteen business schools were up for consideration and GIBS achieved the highest overall score of 8.29 out of a possible 10. Prof Nick Binedell received the second award for his achievement in the category: Individual in the Business School fraternity in South Africa doing most to enhance and develop the relevancy of business schools.
The sample of 436 respondents included human resource directors/managers and line managers from listed and large companies, national, provincial and local government departments, and state-owned enterprises in South Africa that employ MBA/MBL graduates and students across the following attributes:
