The purpose of this workshop is to create an opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange amongst scholars who are interested in the Rwandan genocide. Two of the prominent francophone writers, Boubacar Boris Diop and Véronique Tadjo, who contributed to the literary project "Writing by duty of memory" are currently in South Africa and will be participating in this discussion. The project involved a number of writers who were invited to publish their personal literary responses to the genocide in Rwanda. As space is limited you are kindly requested to RSVP.
