Module content | This elective introduces the global climate finance architecture, which is the network of institutions that provide financing for climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives. The mechanisms for reducing emissions are discussed, with a view towards effecting a just transition to a net-zero economy. The barriers to private investment in climate change related initiatives, particularly in adaptation, are analysed, as well as potential means of overcoming them. |
