Operational arrangements

• Officials from the Department of Security Services will be on duty to assist with traffic flow and parking.
• The South Street entrance can be used for access to the site and parking areas.
• To ensure fast and efficient traffic flow and parking of vehicles, all visitors are requested to obey security officials’ instructions.
• No alcoholic beverages and cooler bags will be allowed in the stadium area.
• No persons will be allowed to braai on the site.
• The Department of Security Services will have a Venue Operational Centre (VOC) in place to deal with any enquiries and to assist with incident management.

In accordance with the regulations of the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act 2 of 2010, an application for risk categorisation as prescribed in section 6(3) of the Act was submitted; this event was categorised as a medium risk event.
