The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants for conducting independent postdoctoral research and/or lecturing at a US academic institution.

The Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship Program gives accomplished mid-level professionals the opportunity to spend a year in the United States, combining academic work (for non-degree purposes) and professional work. This programme is also open to administrative and support personnel.
