This week we celebrate three colleagues from Security Services who went the extra mile for a fellow colleague. They clearly live the #UPWAY by showing that charity begins at home. The colleagues are Mr Ronnie Zitha, Thomas Raphatlhelo and Lucky Mathonsi. Here’s what happened:

Good day Mr Boonzaaier,

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by the security team at the University Road gate on Wednesday afternoon.

I was stopped when leaving the University by Mr Ronnie Zitha, who brought to my attention that my right, front tyre was flat. Mr Zitha kindly directed me to park on the opposite side entrance and advised that they will assist me to change the tyre. I just got my vehicle two(2) weeks ago but when they removed the spare,  Mr Zitha again pointed out to me that the tyre was not properly inflated and that I will not be able to drive like that. He offered to quickly drive to the nearby filling station to get the tyre inflated.

During the period they assisted me they also still managed to attend to their duties at the gate. The entire process was completed in about 20 minutes.

I am extremely thankful for the assistance received by these gentlemen.

Their helpfulness, efficiency and friendliness are commendable.
