The University of Pretoria’s Transformation Office is joining national calls to end gender-based violence (GBV) as part of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign.

This United Nations initiative takes place annually from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day).

GBV manifests itself in various forms, whether physical, sexual and/or psychological. We call on the UP community to support those seeking support either as survivors or perpetrators.
