Water supply interruption
Area: Hatfield Campus
Buildings affected: Student Service Centre Building, Economic and Management Sciences Building, Tukkiewerf, Chapel, Restrooms behind Monastery Hall, Conference Centre, IT west restrooms, Sanlam Auditorium and Drama Building
(IT east has a tank which will be sufficient to supply the IT building for the day)
Date: 29 September 2020
Time: 08h00 to 17h00
Please take note of a planned bulk infrastructure interruption of the water supply to the abovementioned buildings and area.
The reason for the interruption is due to the leak flow tests to be executed on the main water supply pipelines.
The specific date and time when the buildings will be affected are stated above.
Please fill all available containers with water before the interruption to supplement drinking and washing water and use water sparingly in buildings equipped with reservoir tanks.
Please do not leave taps turned on during the interruption as this may result in serious flooding and damage once the main water supply has been restored.
Thank you for your understanding.
