The Department of University Relations has embarked on an exciting digital marketing project, to visually showcase the University of Pretoria in an accessible, creative and informative manner to local and international undergraduate and postgraduate students, via the UP Web.  

The project entailed the production and filming of images for the Virtual Campus of the University that provides insight into daily campus life, the atmosphere, culture, settings, sport, surroundings, students and staff.

Filming commenced across all campuses and facilities in December 2017 during the University break and again from February 2018. In addition, archived UP photographs were included.

During this filming process at various open and closed locations, it is possible that you may appear in these visuals. Should you have concerns about appearing in the Virtual Campus and wish to view this footage prior to the launch on 23 June 2018, we invite you to book an appointment to view the specific footage. Please email [email protected] to set up an appointment and specify the date and location of your specific concern. Individual appointments and viewing will take place between 4 – 11 June 2018.
