Students at universities are at an increased risk of contracting bacterial meningitis, which is a very serious and potentially fatal disease.
The University of Pretoria has embarked on a vaccine campaign to educate and protect our students, especially first-years and those housed in residences.
Student Health Services at UP has taken this initiative to ensure that receiving the meningitis and flu vaccine is as convenient and cost effective as possible.
