Please take note of a planned interruption of the municipal water supply to the abovementioned buildings and campus.
According to the City of Tshwane, the interruption is necessitated by maintenance/upgrading of the municipal main water supply pipelines. The City of Tshwane indicated that although the interruption of the water supply is avoided at all costs, interruptions may however be unavoidable from time to time. The interruption is planned for Tuesday, 19 July 2016 to Wednesday, 20 July 2016.
We kindly request all personnel to fill available containers with water before the interruption in order to supplement drinking and washing water, as well as for personnel and students to use water sparingly in buildings with water reservoir tanks.
Please do not leave taps open during the interruption, as this may result in serious flooding and damage once the main water supply has been restored.
