The Metro Police and SAPS have advised that no one will be allowed to park in Lynnwood Road, including on the pavements, between 06:00 and 22:00.

The main entrance to the University in Lynnwood Road, will also be closed from 09:00 until further notice.

The University has arranged alternative parking for its staff and students at the following venues:

  1. Hillcrest Campus at the End Street entrance

  2. Groenkloof Campus at the parking area adjacent to Kiaat Residence and G6 parking

Please click here for more information regarding the amended schedule for bus transport between Hillcrest, Groenkloof and the Hatfield Campuses for tomorrow.

The University of Pretoria will not tolerate violence or disruption to academic activities. We have put security measures in place to ensure that the academic programme continues as scheduled.
