The annual TuksFM Winter Woolly campaign is focused on supporting and bringing relief to those in need in our community. We know from past experience that our staff members support the campaign enthusiastically; in fact, we raised the bar last year by increasing our contribution to this campaign significantly. 

In 2014 a total 589 blankets, 655 food items, 1 484 items of clothing and more than R24 000 were raised.  Child Welfare Tshwane, Boitumelo’s Children’s Home, Indaba Zosindiso Orphanage, Sunnyside Orphanage, President Kruger Children’s Home, Community of Sant’ Egidio and Angels without Wings all organisations that benefitted from your donations.

This year the campaign was launched a bit earlier to ensure that blankets, food and clothing are distributed well before the icy winter sets in.

Branded, green containers will be available from 6 March to 29 May at various locations on the different campuses. Click here for a comprehensive list of the locations.

Please donate blankets, warm clothing and tinned food and put your contributions in the designated containers. If your donation falls outside the abovementioned categories, for example of you wish to donate cash, please discuss it with Jolene at TuksFM on 012 362 5316.
