Karén Devroop is a jazz saxophonist and jazz pianist from Pietermaritzburg who has performed extensively across the USA, Europe, Asia and South Africa as a soloist, lead alto saxophonist and with his jazz quartet.

Charl du Plessis is a concert pianist who plays classical, jazz and popular music. He performs extensively in South Africa (more than 130 concerts per year) and travels regularly to China, the Netherlands and Switzerland for concert tours and master classes.

On Thursday these jazz giants will be bringing jazz of an international standard to the University of Pretoria!
