With the master organist Ockie Vermeulen as musical director the fine accomplishments of soprano Magdalene Minnaar (leading lady in the South African version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera now staged at Montecasino) are  melded  with those of a local string quartet and of the choir of Constantia Park Primary School to offer a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment as a special accolade to all mothers. Nella Fantasia, Whiter Shade of Pale, Lisa se klavier, O mio babbino caro and Time to say Goodbye will be among the works performed during the presentation of approximately 70 minutes.   TO MOTHER will be presented by UP ARTS on Sunday afternoon, 13 May at 15:00 in the Musaion on the Hatfield Campus of the University of Pretoria.  Tickets are available at R100.00 per person, and bookings can be done through Computicket .
